Hello everybody!

I’d like to welcome you to The Black Keys new forum. While some of you may be new to the Keys forum, I know some of you out there are long time boarders and wonder what the hell is going on here.

What happened with the old forum was bad news. We acted rather quickly and for that we sincerely apologize. Fortunately for you guys Brucini and Kelvyn jumped right in and created new forums at www.theblackkeysfanlounge.com and www.theblackkeysforum.com. They’ve both done an amazing job and they continue to do so. Both forums filled a void that was created when the old board was removed and filled the hearts of all you long time fans. If you haven’t checked out their sites you definitely should!

This board isn’t any attempt to take away from either forum. And it’s not in any way trying to start up where the old board left off. It’s just another place for TBK fans to interact with one another. With the new site we wanted to incorporate a way for all of you to enjoy the band together while you’re here. (That’s also why there are so many new options to comment and discuss on the main site itself.) Whether you’re on one board, the other, or both we’re just happy to have you on “Team Keys”. That’s the joy of being a music fan- it’s a common denominator that will always bring us all together.

So here’s to new beginnings and building new relationships with each other! Welcome aboard!

Can we talk in depth about this? I feel that if we
address it honestly and directly, we may be able to
prevent future drama and possible Pearl Harbor attacks.

Thanks, I'm new to the site, so makes no difference to me either way.... been a Black Keys fan for about 2 years and am turning others on to em'. Love that TBK stays true to their own style. The new album's got me sent; unbelievable piece through and through! Please come to 'The Big Gig'; Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI. I'll be waiting! Keep it simple; keep it real.

Hello Dan and Pat
If you would ever like to make the duo a trio...i know how to play bass and i am a big fan. You guys will probably never see this but i just wanted to say that playing with you guys would be a dream come true. I went to college and got a great job, but it wouldnt even compare to playing live shows with you guys. Regardless, keep up the good tunes. Definately a different direction with the last two albumns, but great nonetheless. I like the change, as well as the old. keep rockin...

K-lan

p.s. if by some crazy chance you guys wanted a bass player...contact me via k44_22@hotmail.com

Hi Brandy,

First time on this forum board and having fun looking at all the views people have.  I have a busy life, so try not to get too involed with building up friendships as I can't get to reply very often - time short.
I am a member of Thirdaman Records and they have a great set up which allows me to contact TMR and ask for early entry as trusted longterm fan and also pass messages on to the group / record company about ideas for promo / reviews of gigs.  Is there any other way other than the general forum site to get a goodluck message through to Dan and Patrick ?

I always like to try at the start of a tour to send a goodluck message and a big thanks for coming at the end of the tour, as I normally see between 3 x 5 gigs per tour, dpending on venues.  Saw them at the Roundhouse, got Birmingham tickets for tomorrow, then Leeds, Nottingham ( home town ) and Liverpool in Oct / Nov.

This group or saw under-rated it is untrue.  Tomorrow at Birmingham I convinced another 5 of my mates to go and check out what they are missing !  BK are gonna blow them away.

Anyway, hope you can pass a message on.  The new material sounds awsome live especially "She's Long Gone" love it , just love it !

I'd be interested to know an answer to the above question and thanks for reading it.

RobinHoodUK, Nottingham.

Hi - ANYONE THERE?

I am not sure how I can ask a question of the BK management or Record Label managers, but if you are in the know PLEASE can you suggest and answer to the following.

I am trying to buy the ITUNES black keys session from Oct 2010, but it is NOT in the itunes shop in the UK?

Is it possible it can be made available?

Kind regards,

RobinHoodUK.
