I always get excited when an issue shows up and says The Black Keys anywhere on the cover.
Anyone here like Rolling Stone?

I've been a subscriber for about 2 years now and it's usually pretty good. The only thing I can complain about is how much they put Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber ect. on the covers, and how every Radiohead album is instant gold for some reason.

I pick Rolling Stone of the newsstand every once in a while. I agree with you on how much they putt Lady Gaga and company on the cover too much (but remember it is a pop music magazine). But I disagree with you on Radiohead. They are instant gold.
I really Like Rolling Stone, outside of their political section. The Playlist Issue was really good. The last one I bought had Pink Floyd on the cover; There was a very good article about Tom Morello in it.

They have been my somewhat consistent go-to music magazine for the past ten years. SPIN got lame, and really those where they only two big American music rags.
Does anyone remember Magnet or On the Radar? Do they still come out?

The city blocks, they drive me wild. Their never ending mile after mile.
